Statment of Purpose:
The object of this Association shall be to foster the study of the problems peculiar to the practice of occupational medicine and surgery in Florida, and to unite into one organization members of the medical profession whose interests lie in that field.  It shall encourage the development of methods adapted to the conservation and improvement of health among workers and promote a more general understanding of the purposes and results of the medical care of these workers.  It shall function as a State Component Society of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
